German Sausage Bratwurst What Are Some More Obscure Types Of German Sausage?
What are some more obscure types of German sausage? - german sausage bratwurst
Everyone knows, grilled hot dogs and sausages, but I'll try to find some less common species. I mean, the Germans know their sausages, so there must be dozens if not hundreds of different types. So, if someone I can fill some regional organizations, or those who are simply not very popular in America, I appreciate it.

Unity problem is that the Germans call "sausage" all sorts of things that most would speak English, the Italian name to bring "cheese". In the following I'll take the so-called "sausage", ie things which are eaten hot. There are large regional differences in terminology and recipes, I'm from the South-West (Germany) and the terms in this field. By the way, you can find the main ingredient and how it commercially available.
Beef Bologna sausage (meat, fat, smoked)
Sausage (tender meat, smoked and boiled)
Wiener (veal, smoked and boiled)
Sausage (famous Bavarian sausage, beef and pork, raw, now often scalded)
Homemade sausage (pork and liver, cooked)
Homemade sausage (pork and blood, cooked, very distant cousin) of blood sausage
Rust Wurst (sausage special recipe for barbecue)
Combine (merguez) (thick lamb / sheep gross)
Farmer Sausage (thick mixture of beef and pork, smoked)
Only the best known.
I hope you will find BelovedIon new here
